Fourth-Year Students Support a Statutory Building Inspection at Burapha University Chanthaburi Campus

On 19 September 2026, the Department of Civil Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, Burapha University took its fourth-year students to Burapha University Chanthaburi Campus to support a statutory building inspection under the Building Control Act. The work was supervised by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sitthiphat Eua-apiwatch, together with Mr. Thanupong Kongjeeb, the registered building inspector.

The students helped survey and record the condition of the lecture building, the Phasuk Kullavanich Building, the 100th Anniversary Building, the student dormitories, the gymnasium and the swimming pool. The work covered structural condition, electrical systems, fire protection and means of egress, and was carried out under the supervision of faculty and the building inspector.

The field work gave the students a chance to apply classroom knowledge to real buildings, to see how professional engineering practice is carried out and to work as a team on site.
